It is also known as “Rajnigandha and Sword Lilly”. It is a herbaceous perennial plant which has 75-100 cm long flower stalk which bears 10-20 funnel shaped. It grows in elongated spikes up to 30-45 cm long that produce clusters of fragrant waxy white flowers that bloom from the bottom towards the top of the spike. It has long, bright green leaves clustered at the base of the plant and smaller, clasping leaves along the stem. The bulb produces tall flower spikes with numerous tubular blooms and a fragrance that is rich, sultry and seductive. Tuberose blooms throughout the year and its clustered spikes are rich in fragrance.
